FDR Varisity and JV Players

GRADE REQUIRMENTS

Open to students in 8th to 12th grade attending FDR High School in Hyde Park as well as, Chatham, Dover, Germantown, Highland, Hudson City, Kinderhook,Icabod Crane, Marlboro, Millbrook, New Lebanon, New Paltz, Northeast, Pine Plains, Poughkeepsie, Red Hood, Rhinebeck, Spackenkill, Taconic Hills and Webatuck.

SEASON

Our season generally runs from early September to the end of March. Season consists of 20 regular season games not including Playoffs.  

PRACTICES

Practices are generally once a week and held at McCann Ice Arena.

GAMES

Teams play one or two games per weekend on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday evenings. JV and Varsity play back to back games.

WHERE 

Home games are played at McCann Ice Arena. Away games are played at Ice Time Sports Complex, and Kiwanis Ice Arena.

FUNDRAISING

We do several fundraisers during the seaon. Players are expected to actively participate, these help pay for events like the End of Year Banquet and senior gifts.

UNIFORMS

Rostered players are required to purchase game uniforms. Game uniforms consist of tone reversible jersey and one pair of socks. A link to purchase uniforms will be sent out to players with their offer letters.
